Boy George back with a new album, 18 years later

Boy-GeorgeForty kilos lighter and nothing more drugs and alcohol, no more improper conduct that led him in jail (as in 2009, for kidnapping and assault of a swedish escort). He’s a brand new Boy George and it’s absolutely a pleasure to see him in such a good shape.

Thanks to the work of Amelia Freer, nutritionist and former collaborator of Prince Charles of Wales, plus to the right discipline and a regular physical activity, Boy George his back with a brand new album, thinner, more toned and full of positive energy.

The english songwriter is still committed to the promotion of his new album, the first after 18 years, “This Is What I Do”,  the former Culture Club says of himself: “Sometimes, when I think of what I went through in my life, I find myself not being even more freaked out than it has been. When I was young I did not have the “stop” button. The difference from there to now is that today I can stop. I’m not saying I can do it everytime, but at least now I’m faster in apologizing to the people and make amends”. It seems like, at the age if 53, Boy George is finally grow up.

Talking again about himself, he says “I have invested a lot on staying sober and keep myself clean, I do not want longer to give it up for anyone or anything in the world”.

What we can say is “welcome back Boy George”, hope that the new album will be as great as usual.
